This past weekend, the 2025 Bahamas Charter Yacht Show (BCYS) took center stage, marking another successful year of showcasing the best in luxury yacht charters. Held from January 30 to February 2, 2025, across four premier Nassau/Paradise Island marinas, this year’s event featured an expanded lineup of more than 80 top-tier charter vessels and welcomed over 130 brokers from around the world.

A Culinary First: The Inaugural Chef’s Competition
For the first time in the show’s history, the Bahamas Charter Show hosted a highly anticipated Chef’s Competition, sponsored by National Marine. The challenge? Chefs had to create a stunning three-course meal using only local Bahamian ingredients, judged by a panel of esteemed Bahamian culinary experts. This competition brought a new level of excitement and appreciation for the gourmet experiences available aboard charter yachts.
tHE WINNING MENU ONBOARD PLAYTIME
Broker Luncheon Aboard PLAYTIME
Among the many highlights of the show, PLAYTIME hosted an exclusive broker luncheon on Friday, January 31, providing six charter brokers with a preview of the winning chef’s menu before the main event on Saturday, February 1. This intimate dining experience gave brokers a firsthand taste of the culinary expertise available to guests chartering these world-class yachts.
Cocktail & Tablescape Competitions 2025
BCYS announced an exciting three-day competition at each marina for 2025:
Create the best Bahamian Valentine’s-themed cocktail and yacht tablescape
- The competition will showcase creativity and mixology skills, enhancing the onboard dining and entertainment experience for guests.
This year, MISS STEPHANIE impressed the judges in the Tablescape Competition, securing 2nd place and setting a new benchmark for luxury dining
The Crew also participated in the Cocktail Competition, presenting the stunning “Purple Haze”—a visually striking, rum-based drink crafted using premium rum provided by John Watling’s Distillery. See below official photos from the event!
Crew Fun & Competitions
The Bahamas Charter Show isn’t just about luxury yachts and broker showcases—it’s also a time for the hardworking crews to engage in fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition. On the final day of the show, Sunday, February 2, crews gathered for a beach day and crew competition. Worth Avenue Yachts’ very own PLAYTIME took home the top prizes in the Tug-of-War Competition and Dance-Off, with each crew member winning their own bottle of locally distilled rum.
