Worth Avenue Yachts Named North American Representative for CDM Yachts

CDM DealerPALM BEACH, Fla – Worth Avenue Yachts is pleased to announce it has recently been named the official representative for Cantiere delle Marche (CDM) Yachts for North, Central and South America.

Worth Avenue Yachts will represent the Darwin Class series including the 86 (26.2 m), the 95 (28.95 m) and the 105 (32 m), and the Nauta Air series including the 80 (22.72 m), the 96 (29.26 m) and 115 (35.40 m).  CDM pricing starts at 6,050,000 Euros.

“We are very excited to introduce these extremely well-built, semi-custom, large-volume vessels to the Americas,” said Michael Mahan, managing member of Worth Avenue Yachts.  “These are true bluewater yachts, ready for any ocean conditions and the ultimate new solution for our clients.”

From design brief through construction, CDM’s yachts are built to satisfy the most knowledgeable and demanding owners in terms of style, design, functionality and quality.  Capable of traveling to the four corners of the globe in comfort and safety, CDMs are built to the highest standards in the industry today, from 80 ft. (22.72 m) to 145 ft. (44.2m), the Darwin 86 has a range of 4000+ nautical miles.

Open since August 2010, the CDM yard has produced astounding results.  Sold and delivered are the Darwin Series 86 and 96 hulls 1, 2 and 3.  Contracts are pending for the Darwin Series 86 hull 4 to be delivered March 2013 and a 105 to be delivered in 2014.  The Nauta Air 115 Hull 1 and a 105 are also scheduled to be delivered in 2014.

Technical features include extra-thick steel plates, cupronickel piping, remote controlled valves and zero speed stabilization as standard.  Detailing and layout in the engine room would grace vessels exceeding 40 meters and all CDM’s are built to class.  The Darwin Class models also have two rudders that can be controlled independently to offer extraordinary maneuverability in any sea condition.

Worth Avenue Yachts currently has an 86 under contract and interest from North, Central and South America has been strong.  “The Americas have proven to be a solid arena for these distinguished yachts,” said Mahan. CDM will be present at the 2011 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show together with Worth Avenue Yachts at their Hall of Fame display.
