The Mediterranean yacht charter season is almost here. This past month saw 2 professional charter yacht shows hosted in the region, with the MYBA Charter Yacht Show in Genoa, Italy and the EMMYS Charter Show in Paros, Greece. Worth Avenue Yachts was honored to showcase 2 yachts in our charter fleet, 1 at each show. At the MYBA Charter Yacht Show, KAR, an 88′ (26.9m) Riva was on display. Meanwhile, the EMMYS featured SKYLARK, a 70′ (21.4m) Sunreef.
The 34th edition of the MYBA Charter Show, set against the picturesque backdrop of Marina Molo Vecchio in Genoa, took place from April 22nd through the 25th. As a premier gathering for luxury charter experts, the MYBA Charter Show offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the finest yachts available for a Mediterranean yacht charter. As an industry event, charter brokers, managers and more had the privilege of experiencing these luxury vessels in their full glory, while envisioning the unforgettable experiences they offer to discerning clientele. Moreover, the event facilitates invaluable interactions with captains and crew, fostering relationships that are fundamental to the success of the charter industry.
At the heart of the MYBA Charter Show lies the esteemed Chefs’ Competition, a showcase of culinary mastery that sets the standard impossibly high. Featured at the show was KAR, an 88′ (26.9m) Riva yacht for charter in the Mediterranean. This Riva 88 Folgore built in 2021, includes zero-speed stabilizers and many custom features ensuring an unmatched luxury experience. Its bright salon features large windows and ample seating, accompanied by a spacious dining area for up to 10 guests. Below deck, KAR accommodates 8 guests in 4 staterooms, including a lavish Owner’s suite and two VIP suites, all with ensuite bathrooms. The lower deck also houses a well-appointed galley and crew quarters. KAR’s deck space is optimized, offering alfresco dining on the aft deck, expansive seating on the flybridge, and additional lounging areas on the foredeck.
