Golden Compass wins 2012 Voyager's Award

The 1982 151′ Picchiotti Motor Yacht “GOLDEN COMPASS” wins the Voyager’s Award at the 2012 World Superyacht Awards held May 5 in Istanbul Turkey. The Voyagers Award recognises an owner that has made extensive use of his yacht in long distance voyaging and exploration over the past few years.

Cruising Route: 30,000nm ‘World Tour’, starting in the USA, through the Caribbean, South America, the Mediterranean, then on through the Red Sea and Indian Ocean, cruising the Indian coast to Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, the Malacca Straits and on through Indonesia to Papua New Guinea end the tour in Genoa, Italy.
