EQUINOX is an 81′ luxury yacht for sale that was built by Cheoy Lee Yachts. EQUINOX is a well-equipped raised pilothouse yacht designed by Tom Fexas, with a Modified V, semi-displacement hull form, with a fine entry and flared bow for a smooth and dry ride. She has a composite FRP construction, with integral fuel and water tanks for a lower center of gravity. This yacht was delivered in 2004 and has been well-maintained by her full-time crew and current owners, with a layout that includes 4 staterooms with ensuite heads as well as a day head on the deck and a separate crew cabin with upper and lower berths.

EQUINOX has a classic, yet contemporary feel in the interior, with plenty of ambient lighting. Light-colored cherry wood and classical décor are used throughout the yacht. The owner’s stateroom has a walk-around king-size bed, two cedar-lined walk-in closets, an entertainment system with a flat-screen TV, an ensuite bathroom with marble tiles, a shower, and a spa tub. Outside, there are plenty of options for entertaining guests, with a large aft deck for alfresco dining, and a flybridge that can seat many guests.

This Cheoy Lee Yachts build is powered by twin Caterpillar 3412E diesel engines (1400hp) and twin Northern Lights 32kW generators. Additional features include a hydraulic bow thruster, underway stabilizer fins, great toy storage off the swim platform, and a Country Kitchen galley. She has been owned by the same family throughout her history and has always benefitted from being fully crewed and well maintained by a knowledgeable owner.

EQUINOX recently received upgrades during her annual yard period. This upgrade included new bottom paint, an aligned driveline, and new whisper wall coverings in the galley, main stairwell, and master suite. In the last 3 years, the generator PTOs have been rebuilt, along with the engine receiving new injectors, new high-pressure fuel lines, heat exchangers, and re-sleeved turbos.
