KORU 163' Feadship 1983/2024 Profile

KORU – At Anchor

163′ 8″ (49.89m) Feadship 1983 / 2024

Discover the stunning transformation of KORU, formerly known as Azteca, a 49.89 meter Feadship superyacht that has been reborn after an extensive two-year refit by Ocean Technical.

Originally launched in 1983 and designed by the legendary Jon Bannenberg for Mexican billionaire Emilio Azcárraga, KORU’s story is one of innovation and elegance. Her sistership, Paraiso, and her futuristic design influenced Azcárraga’s later yacht, the 74.5-meter Blohm + Voss, Eco (now Zeus).

In February 2022, KORU arrived at Aykin Marina & Shipyard in Turkey for a complete transformation. By April 2024, she emerged with a striking new look: a navy hull with white detailing, an extended stern, and a brand new sundeck. The interior overhaul included converting the original television lounge into an additional guest cabin, enhancing her luxury and functionality.

KORU’s technical upgrades are equally impressive, featuring a major engine overhaul, updated navigation systems, and the addition of Starlink for remote connectivity. These enhancements ensure that KORU is not only visually stunning but also equipped with modern amenities for ultimate comfort and performance.

Experience the rebirth of KORU, where classic design meets contemporary luxury. Available for sale now exclusively with Worth Avenue Yachts, she promises new beginnings and adventures on the Mediterranean waters.
