Captain

CAPTAIN JACK Maher Sailing and the ocean have always been apart of my life, it's in my blood in a sense. I grew up on boats and couldn't imagine my life without water. All throughout my teenage years, a tiny sailing marina called Belle Haven in Alexandria VA was my life. To my close group of friends and I, it was our version of paradise. After High School I signed on to a sailing ship known as the Barque Picton Castle and spent 6 months sailing around the Atlantic Ocean. This exposed me to a new lifestyle. After the trip ended I started my professional career on the water. I moved to Key West and captained multiple traditional vessels and did freelance yacht deliveries. During this time I racked up miles, sea time, boat driving skill and experience. 7 years later I've started a new voyage, one of giving back and sharing my experiences. Multi day charters are a great way to do this as they expose my guests to a lifestyle at sea that is immersive. You feel the sea and sky in a way you never have before and I love facilitating that for people. I’m blessed to be able to provide an experience like no other boat can. Outside of chartering, he spends his time windsurfing, cycling, and doing yoga. Sidney Anderson

Sidney Anderson

Chef & 1st Mate

Chef / Mate Sidney Anderson Sidney moved from the middle of the country to Key West 5 years ago and immediately hopped on a boat having no knowledge. Today she has over 10,000 offshore nautical miles on tall ships and holds her captains license. Her new role as a professional in the kitchen happened accidentally. Right before a two week off shore trip the original cook fell through. She stepped in to provision, prep, and cook for 6 hungry sailors on an old wooden boat with a half broken stove, while also maintaining her role as deckhand and keeping up with watches. Truth be told, the extra responsibility came easy to her. Since she was a child she felt at home in the kitchen and knew the best way to put a smile on her families face was to put food in their mouths. Since then she has been addicted to communicating her love for others through her culinary skills. She is ready to make the guests experience as special as possible through her ability to connect with others and share a laugh. Outside of chartering she spends her time drawing, painting, learning about psychology, doing yoga, meditating, and getting outside as much as possible.
