CAPTAIN: Charles MANDIL French STCW 95 Language: Fluent English Charles Mandil is a qualified and commercially endorsed yacht captain with an engineering background. Proudly coming from the city of yachting, Antibes France, where the sailing industry was a natural direction for such an ocean loving individual. Sailing from his young age, he started out thirteen years ago as deckhand and working his way up to Engineer he has became a Captain with over 70,000Nm and few crossings under his belt in global destinations such as the red sea, the Mediterranean, Atlantic and the Bahamas. Qualified advanced diver with huge interest in adventuring & water sports, swimming, fishing and kite surfing as an addition, he spends more time on the water than on land. With a deep appreciation of the Oceans, he prides himself for the care of health and wellbeing of our blue planet. Charles happily promotes SY Cartouche as her Captain where he aim to share his passion and provide high service.

CHEF: Maxime FORLER French STCW 95 Language: Fluent English Maxime Forler is 30-year-old chef with 14 years of culinary experience in prestigious Michelin-stars restaurants in France. Growing up in Alsace where food and wine is part of the culture, Maxime finds himself into the kitchen from a young age and is today a Qualified chef but also certified in oenology with intensive love for both cooking and wine tasting. After five years within the well-known 2 stars Michelin Lalique Group in France, under the guidance of a « Meilleur Ouvrier de France » (MOF) chef, he moved on to a different culinary scene in Saint-Tropez to develop and extend his cooking horizons. Stepping onboard a yacht as a chef for the first time this year is the start of a new chapter where « Gourmandise » and « plant-based » cuisine are his dedications. « Meet on Cartouche for a flavorful taste of experience »

She joined the maritime industry when she discovered a passion for sailing. Starting as Stewardess and cook on sailing boats, she is today a qualified sailor with a 200gt certificate in hand and several experience as mate and captain on small vessel. Sailing in different parts of the World such the Carribean, Mediterranean, Atlantic and Pacific, on various models of sailing catamarans gave her experience and determination to grow and commit to a long term career on yachts. Her commitment is to ensure the well-being and safety of guests on board. She has high standards due to an extensive service and hospitality background.Sailing as a first hobby she also loves diving and fishing so spending her free time in her homeland Guadeloupe seems the ideal life for such a sea oriented individual.
