Matteo Liberotti

Captain

Matteo has been Captain of Dharma since 2011 and before he was captain for the same owner on a 20 mt s/y for seven years sailing all around the Med and speciallyi n Greece. He worked in the yachting industry for over 11 years.He is a keen kite surfer and can easily be persuaded to demonstrate his hobby. Matteo had an interesting start in yachting when, after finishing university and briefly working in a ‘real’ land based job,he bought a yacht, sailed to the Caribbean, and has remained in yachting since. He joined the Darma's owner in 2003, he's attentive, passionate sailor, sailing instructor, very kind and gentle, professional. Matteo speaks English, Spanish, a little bit French and Italian as mother Language.

Amina Ly

Chef

Amina Ly is originally from Senegal, Africa and now based out of Rome. Amina is a perfectionist when it comes to her culinary tastes, specialising in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. She also has a passion for Japanese and traditional Senegalese cooking. She is 30 years old and has over 7 years of experience as a chef aboard sail and motor yachts. Amina spent few years in the USA when she was a teenager and she speaks perfectly English, French, Italian, Senegalese and a bit of Spanish.

Jon Adams

1st Mate

Jon joined Dharma in Sept 2012 prior to the departure for the Caribbean. With 7 years of crewing aboard vessels from dinghies to Super yachts, he will happily share a few stories of yachting adventures and mishaps. This is Jon’s second time in the Caribbean previously having been based in the Caymans for a year.
