Daniel Perrin

Captain

With a childhood spent between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, Daniel grew up around the ocean and on boats. As a young man, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard where he honed his seamanship skills. Daniel holds both USCG & MCA 3000-ton Master’s License and has over 25 years’ experience serving as a Captain onboard private and charter yachts, navigating around the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the U.S./British Virgin Islands, the French West Indies and the Mediterranean. A citizen of both Switzerland and the U.S., he is equally fluent in French and English. As the Captain of M/Y Impulse, Daniel’s priority is to maintain the highest standards of safety, while providing guests with an entertaining and memorable experience.

Shirly Perrin

Chief Stewardess & Chef

Shirly was born and raised in the Philippines where she began her culinary journey learning Filipino cooking from her mother. She discovered her passion for yachting while cruising with her husband Daniel around the Bahamas, Florida Keys and US East Coast. She obtained her Stewardess certification from the American Yacht Institute and perfected her cooking skills while working as a sous chef at “La Taverna Espanola” and also trained at the Fort Lauderdale School of Culinary Arts. Shirly has more than 15 years’ experience working as a yacht Chef specializing in Italian, French, Spanish, Mediterranean, and South East Asian cuisine. She focuses on using the freshest ingredients to create flavorful and nutritionally balanced dishes while respecting guests’ preferences. When not on the water, she works as a Registered Nurse.
