Manuel Fontana

Captain

Manuel was born in Bologna in 1977. After completing his formal education, from 2001, he has been embarked on both private and charter yachts, at first in the role of deckhand/skipper and then as Captain (i.e. 25m Sanlorenzo MIRALTA and 27m Leopard BEMBIK, among others). He holds a R.Y.A. Yacht Master Offshore 200 ton. M.C.A. since October 2007. Manuel also skippered several sailing yachts and fishing boats, in various parts of the world: Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Florida. From 2012 until 2015, he was the Owner and kitesurf head instructor of North Sardinia Kite School (I.K.O. certified Kitesurf instructor level 2). Captain Manuel is a polite and well mannered individual, always enthusiastic and prepared to meet challenges. He brings positivity and energy to the workplace and has a passion for creating memorable experiences for the guests. In his spare time, he enjoys practicing kitesurfing, travelling, listening to music and reading. Manuel is mother tongue Italian and has a good working knowledge of English and French.
