Yacht Charter Itinerary South Pacific

Few areas of the world are as alluring as the South Pacific. From the sparkling white sand beaches to the variety of culture and choice of things to see it will keep you wanting to come back for more. Forget the hassle of vendors and overcrowding, the islands remain pristine and untouched. So step off the beaten tourist track and experience the native beauty of French Polynesia.

Day 1: Fakarava (UNESCO biosphere reserve)

After arriving at the airport in the north pass, join your yacht and cruise to the south pass, the perfect place to discover these stunning islands. Settle in and enjoy the scenic ride and then take the opportunity to snorkel, dive or kite board in the crystal clear waters.

Day 2: Fakarava

Picnic on a secluded pink sand islet, dive the turquoise waters or go snorkeling and visit the various islets of the area; the south pass offers endless opportunities for everyone. For the children, we’ll arrange a treasure hunt on “treasure islet” where ancient skulls lie! In the late afternoon, explore the old village and walk on the atoll. Visit the ancient Catholic Church and then relax and enjoy a cocktail on board at sunset.

Day 3: Fakarava to Toau

While the yacht cruises back to the north pass, join the tender to take a closer look at the islets and explore the marine life. When you arrive at Toau enjoy some wonderful swimming and snorkeling and a coconut crab hunt may be arranged at dusk. In the afternoon enjoy watersports in the untouched Toau lagoon.

Day 4: Rangiroa

A trip to the crystal clear blue lagoon, a spa treatment at the Kia Ora resort, a dinner ashore at a great steak restaurant, or relax on board, the choice is yours!

Day 5: Rangiroa – Bora Bora

Fly to Bora Bora in the morning and enjoy unique spa treatments at the Four Seasons resort. Then why not start hunting for the perfect Tahitian black pearls in one of the amazing pearl shops of the island?

Day 6 – 7: Bora Bora

Spend the day on the most beautiful lagoon in the world. Any water or land activity is possible – a dive with the manta rays is highly recommended. Go horseback riding along  beautiful white sandy beaches, take a helicopter ride above the mythical island and visit a Marquesan art gallery. To finish the day, have a special dinner on a private islet with traditional Tahitian musicians and fire dancers!

Day 7 – 8: Raiatea and Tahaa

These islands lie in the same lagoon, a worldwide unique phenomenon. Take a 4WD safari to visit the plantations and lush vegetation of Tahaa, aka the “Vanilla Island”. In Raiatea, get to know ancient Polynesian culture and visit the largest marae of the country – an archeologically sacred site.

Day 9 – 10: Huahine

A must-do is a traditional Polynesian picnic with local musicians and traditional games on an islet! Huahine is the ideal spot for a cultural and fun day or enjoy  lounging on the yacht’s vast trampoline and just take it easy.

Days 11 – 12: Moorea

Moorea is known as ‘Tahiti’s sister island’ and as well as top spas and fine dining, you can also enjoy the island’s 18 hole Nicklaus Moorea golf course or alternatively, visit the dolphins at the Moorea Dolphin Centre for an interactive session in the water or… if between August and October, spend time whale watching and maybe swimming or diving with the incredible humpback whales! On day 14, transfer to Tahiti either with the yacht or by plane.
