Dan Corcoran began his maritime career at 15, washing boats at a marina in Spring Lake, Michigan, and earned his Captain’s license by 18. After relocating to Florida post-graduation, he managed boats full-time. In 2001, he upgraded his license and captained larger yachts, including the 151’ Northern Marine “Valhalla” in 2012. Over 15 years, Dan operated yachts along the U.S. East Coast, the Great Loop, the Tennessee/Tombigbee Waterway, and the Bahamas.

Holding a Master 1600 GRT license and with four decades of maritime experience, Dan earned his broker’s license in 2007. As a successful yacht broker, he leverages his deep industry expertise to help clients find their ideal vessels. Drawing on his years as a captain, Dan has a unique understanding of the operational, technical, and lifestyle needs of yacht owners. His hands-on experience allows him to anticipate and recommend the features, layouts, and amenities best suited to each client, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.
