Merritt's Boat & Engine Works is pleased to present the graceful 1984 Ditmar & Donaldson 100ft. Motor Yacht HUNTRESS to the market as worldwide central agents. Her design was conceived by the famous Australian born and ultimately world-renowned yacht designer Jon Bannenberg.

HUNTRESS has been enjoyed by only two loving owners throughout her life and has been constantly maintained and upgraded. Her current owner has enjoyed a wonderful 24 years of ownership, with the vessel predominantly used as a mothership for remote and extended explorations.

This renowned luxury motor yacht has consistently explored Australian waters and often ventured out into the Pacific Ocean such is her capability and range. This iconic yacht's extensive logbook included previous explorations of the untouched landscapes of remote Tasmania and the Kinberley regions, then in offshore waters, the Salomon Islands, Vanuatu, The paradise that is Tahiti, the super remote Tuamotus Archipelago and also the Marquesas Islands to name a few adventures. Better still she is turn-key ready to cross oceans again tomorrow for her next custodian. She enjoys a range of 3500nm and 10 knots.

This 100ft superyacht showcases the exceptional crafsmanship of shipwright's Ditmar & Donaldson. This renowned shipyard, based in Costa Mesa, California, USA has a long-standing reputation for building genuine blue water vessels. HUNTRESS is a perfect example and exudes elegance. Her timeless Bannenberg design holds an appeal of classic charm sometimes lost on newer models. HUNTRESS was created in a period when boats were unique handcrafted masterpieces and built to last generations - her interior joinery work is a testament to that. She is indeed one of a kind.

Admiring the vessel from the dock, HUNTRESS commands respect. She's strong and she's bold. Her hand laid GRP structure (the lamination thickness you have to see to believe!) could easily be mistaken for steel. Her elegant lines lead to her beautiful flared bow required to hand ocean crossings with grace, comfort and above all else safety. Her wide walk around side decks make movement around the vessel easy and safe - and as a bonus provide the saloon with additional shade courtesy of the flybridge overhead overhang. From the outside she is an impressive vessel, but there is plenty of magic within.

Boarding HUNTRESS is via a gangway onto the side deck, or via the swim platform if you are at sea. Her teak laid Aft Deck is generous in size, and tastefully furnished for outdoor entertaining overlooking the swim platform. The Aft Deck features a large built-in L-shaped forward facing lounge set around a custom timber coffee table inscribed with the iconic HUNTRESS logo. On the starboard side of the Aft Deck, further forward towards the saloon bulkhead, there is another smaller (yet extendable) dining table crafted from the same exquisite timber. The dining table setup comfortably accommodates up to eight individuals for a delightful alfresco dining experience - with great weather protection courtesy of the boat deck above and plexiglass wing doors that can be closed off to stop breeze funneling down each side deck. A removable euro awning allows full shade to the entire Aft Deck, or sun exposure to the aft bench seat in cooler climates - the best of both worlds! Further six guests can set themselves up for a dinner using the aft built-in lounge. the Webber BBQ is neatly stored in its dedicated compartment to port, which also serves as a convenient servery when the BBQ is stowed away. Wide teak laid side decks lead form the Aft Deck both port and starboard all the way forward to the bow where guests can enjoy a different view from the seating forward of the Portuguese bridge. Under this seating forward of the Portuguese Bridge is the ships concealed storage of 500 liters of ULP for the tenders.

Entry to the saloon from the Aft Deck is via an automatic glass sliding door, which facilitates a seamless integration between the indoor and outdoor living and entertaining spaces when called for. The main saloon highlights the elegance of this ship comprising a bar, spacious lounging area and internal formal dining. The saloon is tastefully furnished complementing the abundance of beautifully detailed timber work, evoking a grand and luxurious atmosphere. Through the generously sized oversized windows, the main saloon offers captivation water view while inviting natural light to illuminate the entire space highlighting the pronounced grain patterns of the gorgeous interior.

Directly to starboard as you enter the saloon through the glass sliding door is the ships bar perfectly positions to serve guests enjoying the outdoor entertaining area as those within the main lounge and dining spaces. The bar boasts the applicable refrigeration facilities and also a top-of-the-line Breville coffee maker (espresso martini anyone?). It provides the ideal setting for a bartender to demonstrate their expertise in crafting signature cocktails. The spacious area surrounding the granite countertop allows guests to fully immerse themselves in a traditional bar atmosphere.

Forward of the bar, still on the starboard side, is a chic and elegant lounge area featuring a luxurious L-shaped lounge (with generous storage below). The lounge is set around a custom-made Hi/Lo coffee table as a striking centerpiece in the lounge area. From this location you can relax on the lounge while watching your favorite movies on this Hi/Lo Samsung 55" TV installed across the saloon on the portside - Adjusting the Hi/Lo table to the elevated position is a great location from which to eat a meal without missing out on your favorite television show. A Fusion sound system to the Aft Deck and Saloon will take care of your music requirements. To the portside an forward in the Saloon closer to the Galley, the interior formal dining table seats six. This dining area is a handy location to enjoy a meal in a climate-controlled environment after a long day outdoors. Once seated you are in close proximity to the galley which features a servery opening which can be open our closed depending upon guests preferences.

A highlight of the Saloon is the showcase of an exquisite model of the HMS Prince 110 Guns, meticulously crafted from micro bone fragments by French prisoners during the Nepoleonic Wars while confined in Great Britain from 1794 to 1817. This glass-enclosed masterpiece exudes exceptional craftsmanship that is sure to captivate both guests and the new owner for a lifetime. The placement of the model in a dedication glass case in the main saloon, opposite a custom-made backgammon table, sets the tone for the overall elegance of this irreplaceable motor yacht.

The ship's galley, located portside forward on the main saloon, is equipped with everything a master chef needs to create culinary delights. There is plenty of cabinetry for storage, complemented by granite bench-tops and backsplashes. The galley features quality appliances including a Bosch dishwasher, an LG Smart Inverter Microwave, Subzero upright Fridge/Freezer, a stainless steel range hood positioned above the Dacor commercial stovetop and commercial convection oven. There is an additional fridge/ freezer located just outside the galley. Additional refrigeration and freezer capacity can be found in the crew area and up on the boat deck sufficient for long range extended cruising. The galley features natural light via a generous window overlooking the portside deck. As previously mentioned the galley can be open or closed off from the formal dining and salon area as required. A dedicated wine fridge is conveniently located just forward of the galley as you head forward and up the Pilothouse.

Opposite the galley on the starboard side is the must have on-deck day head. This is an opulent space with lots of marble and is complete with Hollywood lighting.

The impressive wheelhouse is located forward of the galley and up a few steps. Port and starboard Pilothouse doors (the original aluminum doors have been remanufactured from GRP for minimal maintenance) offer ease of access out on the side deck and up to the bow, and assist with natural ventilation when called for. This Pilothouse features recently upgraded trimming to the helm chair, elevated settee and dashboard. In addition to the helm seat guests can relax in the wheelhouse on an elevated settee, which is set around a generous table, so as to keep an eye on the ships progress which has always proven a popular spot on board. As evidence by her extensive travels, the helm is complete with the necessary navigation electronics including quality Furuno, Simrad and Icom equipment to take her next owner wherever they choose to steam. Communications include recently installed Starlink satellite internet. Docking is made easier, using her hydraulic bow thruster, via control station to both port and starboard up on the flybridge with the appropriate sight-lines to ensure safe handling of the boat in close quarters.

HUNTRESS offers a range of luxurious accommodation comprised of three mid-ships guest staterooms plus crew accommodation up in the bow. Guests are guaranteed a quite night sleep onboard courtesy of her hull design and solid lamination. The master stateroom, located midships and spanning the entire beam of the yacht, boasts a king-sized island bed and an abundance of storage options including a walk-in hanging locker. Owners are spoilt for choice with two private ensuites, each adorned with exquisite marble countertops and flooring. One bathroom is equipped with a spacious shower, while the other bathroom invites relaxation with a spa bath. Every detail from the fixtures to the soft furnishings, has been meticulously chosen to create an elegant and opulent experience. Equally impressive, are the identical midship twin guest staterooms. Each guest stateroom features two king singles beds with a private ensuite in both guest staterooms. The portside guest stateroom has also been fitted with an additional upper pullman style berth. tHe thoughtful placement of mirrors crates a modern and spacious feel. Guests will be more than comfortable if spending extended periods of time on board. All guest bathrooms are equipped with heated towel rails. The airconditioned flybridge is well suited for overflow accommodations for another two persons - including fishing guides when they are engaged.

The forward crew quarters, as accessed via a staircase down from the starboard side of the Pilothouse, consists of three crew cabins using a shared head and separate shower. Also located in the crew quarters is a crew dinette and the ships laundry which features a top-loading Speed Queen 7.2 kg commercial clothes washing machine and top loading Whirlpool commercial clothes dryer. An additional Miele clothes dryer can be found in the guest accommodation area foyer. Back in the crew area, sub-floor there is a racked dry storage area for chef provisions. An additional upright Subzero fridge or fridge/freezer is also positioned in the crew area for yet more refrigeration.

Up from the pilothouse, via a staircase also on the starboard side of the pilothouse, you ascend up the HUNTRESS aircondidioned flybridge. The centerline flybridge helm station provides enhanced visibility including with navigating reef systems and is equipped with individual captain and navigator helm seats. Perched high above the waterline, the flybridge offers stunning panoramic views and acts as an additional entertaining space. The flybridge GPR hardtop is supported via a Black Marlin Tower's anodized frame - visual perfection. Forward of the flybridge on the bow of the pilothouse is an enormous polished five trumpet air-horn which means business.

Moving aft form the flybridge area the boat deck houses two great tenders, including a Gemini 5.4M RIB powered by a Yamaha four stroke 150 HP (which underwent a comprehensive 2022 refit) and a classic 5.1 Boston Whaler Centre Console powered with a Yamaha Four Stroke 100 HP. The tenders are launched via dedicated cranes for each tender. The self-aligning tender chokes make stowing the tender a hassle free experience. The commercial Ice Maker up on the boat deck will come in hand to keep your catch or beverage cold. There is an abundance of space generally up here for additional storage of anything you wish to take with you on your adventures - This includes guy equipment storage, a stationary exercise bike, paddle boards and kayaks. The boat deck can also be accessed off the port side deck as you come out of the Aft Deck.

To the heart of the HUNTRESS her engine room houses everything necessary to ensure the smooth operation of this 100ft ocean voyage vessel anywhere in the world. She was re-powered by the current owner with 500 HP John Deere's which have proven to be a great choice offering economical cruise speeds in range of 10-11 knots. Naiad Hydraulic Fin Stabilizers enhance comfortability onboard underway, and flopper-stoppers can be deployed at rest. Two large generators take care of the onboard power requirements (and have been setup to power game fishing vessels rafted alongside overnight). Her chilled water air-conditioning plant and desalination equipment is extremely robust. She carries an impressive 21,500 L of diesel (plus the previously mentioned 500 L of ULP) including the ability to re-fuel a game-fishing vessel courtesy of a fuel bowser in the engine room. A fuel polisher ensures she is always burning clean diesel. The has fresh lube oil and waste oil tankage as well. Upgraded engine room ventilation has been installed by the current owner to keep the machinery space well ventilated. Aft of the engine room, Under the Aft Deck, is a handy workshop complete with extensive tools, a vice and grinders. This area also houses the Baurer dive compressor and the entire room features a custom overhead dive bottle storage compartment. A watertight door in the transom opening out of the lazarette onto the swim platform comes in handy. She is captained maintained by full time crew so as her maintenance is constantly attended too.

HUNTRESS is indeed akin to a small ship. She is equipped to ensure life onboard is elegant, safe and comfortable for all guests on every adventure. This beautiful super yacht has the capacity to take you wherever you want to go as she ahs done for the current long-term owner. The possibilities are endless. The world is your oyster.
