    Detailed Information

Designed by Studio Art Line of Netherlands fame, “Moonraker” offers ‘timeless’ styling’ both inside and out.

The interior features low-pile carpeting (off white) complimented with camphor wood cabinetry, fabulous granite countertops and off-white vinyl wall panels. Exquisitely polished and designed stainless stools and railings offer further elegance. Note that the flooring in the master stateroom and salon was replaced in 2023.

Entering via opposing sliding door from the aft deck, the wide-body salon is a super-spacious and elegantly appointed area for entertaining and lounging – showing off artistically curved framing at the ceiling edges trimmed with beautiful camphor wood paneling and a magnificent curved staircase to the other decks. A 5-stool (custom stainless) bar is to port with a comfortable sofa (seating 8-9) is to starboard. Note a day head is forward to starboard of the central stairs.

The galley is accessed port or starboard from the salon in the center with a country kitchen arrangement. With another ‘bar” countertop (seats 5) to hang out with the chef, and a half-circular dining settee for 8 forward under lovely humpback whale glass- etched artwork (backlit).

Heading down the staircase to the lower accommodations and heading aft, the master stateroom is full beam and particularly spacious for a yacht this size - with an equally impressive bath – featuring a tub and stall shower (clad in marble). Note also a work station, walk-in closets and a settee.

On the port side of the stair foyer is a cabin with a bottom double and top single bunk bed and which is ensuite.

Forward of the stairs foyer are two (mirror image) queen staterooms with ensuite facilities.

The top of the stairway brings you to the helm area with an extended skylounge offering port and starboard settees.

Built at a world class shipyard, the Norship Ulstein shipyard in Norway certainly knows its business.

“Moonraker” was designed by notable architect Mulder Design from Netherlands, and Art-Line /Juan Carlos Espinosa – both of international fame and recognition.

Due to the popularity of this design, a total of 4 of these Norship yacht models were produced, also including “Sun Ark”, “Daloli” and “Impulsive”.

Ordered originally by Mr. John Stalupi of international yachting fame, “Moonraker” was built as a yacht first and then set out to achieve a world speed record for a superyacht. She was equipped with the engines she has now (MTU 16V396) with a gas turbine engine added (no longer on board). In June, 1992 she became with worlds fastest mega yacht with a speed of 66.7 knots. In 2004 another Mulder design motor yacht “World is Not Enough” (owned also by Mr. Stalupi) broke the “Moonraker” record by reaching a top speed of 67 knots.

It would be difficult to estmate the value of “Moonraker” in terms of her history and heritage as she is one of the most recognized yachts in the world. The internet is full of images of her unique profile and her story.
