CBI Navi specializes in the construction of custom displacement and semi-displacement yachts ranging from 79feet / 24meters to 263feet / 80meters. This Italian shipyard is based in Viarreggio and is known for its strength in the technical department, delivering high performance motor yachts with high navigational speeds.

CBI Navi was founded in 1984 in Viareggio, on the Tuscan coast, where naval art is an integral part of the territory. The company’s main focus was on metalwork. In 2005, CBI Navi joined the Fipa Group and took its strong innovative experience of constructing yachts to another level: larger yachts in length overall. The Fipa Group consists of three brands: Maiora, the sporty fiberglass vessels ranging from 66feet / 20meters to 164feet / 50 meters; AB Yachts, the sporty yachts with waterjet propulsion, ranging from 58feet / 18meters to 166feet / 51meters; and the CBI Navi yachts. Today, the group boasts a world-class company know-how, keeping up with the advanced technological standards, and is focused on constant and continuous improvement of management and technology.

CBI Navi designs and manufactures all its models at its shipyards in Viareggio, where they also provide maintenance and storage services. These custom made semi-displacement and displacement vessels are constructed from steel and/or aluminum. The company is certified UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and complies by the RINA certification. The shipyard often works with the famous naval architect Giorgio Vafiadis and also cooperates with Ruggiero Naval Architects & Marine Engineers.

CBI Navi has several projects underway including the CBI 30 (201feet / 61meters), CBI 40 (136feet / 42meters), CBI 50 (164feet / 50meters), CBI 675 (221feet / 68meters), and CBI 777 (455feet / 78meters). The CBI Hybrid Propulsion project (CBI 40 and CBI50) opens the door to a new world of Hybrid Propulsion (Conventional and Electric). These yachts will have the advantages of: reduction of noise and vibrations, access to marine protected areas, greater operational flexibility, the possibility of power through storage battery system, performance improving and/or lower maintenance charges.
