Codecasa Shipyards, one of Italy’s most established and reputed luxury yacht builders, traces its origins back to Viareggio in 1825 when Giovanni Battista Codecasa founded the company. Initially specializing in crafting elegant wooden sailing boats, the tradition and reputation of the yard have been diligently preserved by his direct heirs, overseeing the company’s growth.

Today, the Codecasa Shipyards Group in Viareggio boasts an expansive area covering 7000 square meters, dedicated to the construction of luxury motor yachts ranging from 30 to 70 meters in length.

Renowned for their commitment to quality, innovation, reliability, and comfort, Codecasa specializes in custom-made designs encompassing both speed yachts and traditional displacement yachts constructed from steel and aluminum alloy.

From the striking design of 2010’s M/Y FAMILY DAY (Hull F.71) and 2008’s M/Y MAIN (Hull C.115) to the traditional lines of 2010’s M/Y LADY LAU (Hull C.118) and 2001’s M/Y LADY ANN MAGEE (HullC.107), Codecasa has been behind many of the most iconic and popular yachts in the industry. It is no surprise, therefore, that a variety of honors have been bestowed upon the company, including ‘Two Deck Semi-Displacement or Planning Motoryacht’ for CODECASA 45s – F 72 – FRAMURA 2 at the 2011 World Superyacht Awards and ‘Best Interior Design – Motoryachts Section’ at the 2011 Nautical Design Awards for CODECASA 42 VINTAGE – F 73. More recently, Codecasa has won countless awards including The 2021 Design & Innovation award for M/Y FRAMURA, The 2021 World Superyacht Award for M/Y FRAMURA and “Most Achieved” at The 2021 World Yachts Trophies for M/Y FRAMURA.
