With roots tracing back to 1907, when the Picchiotti family established the shipyard “Giuseppe Picchiotti and Sons,” Leopard Yachts officially emerged in 1973, launching its initial wooden boat. The company later transitioned to fiberglass yachts, unveiling its first Leopard fiberglass yacht in August 1984.

During this period, Leopard Yachts introduced several notable pleasure and charter motor yachts, including Giglio, Giannutri, Giraglia, Gorgona, Mistral, Tiger, Lampuga, Lupo di Mare, and Cariddi.
